Tony Biography
I entered into the Vascular Technology field in 2003, attending Southeast Technical Institute in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. After completing an externship at Memorial Hospital in Colorado Springs, Colorado, I earned an Associate of Applied Science in Cardiovascular Technology. I became a Registered Vascular Technologist with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers in 2005 and later achieved certification as a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer in 2017.
Driven by a passion for learning, I pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Business Management with an emphasis in Marketing from California State University, East Bay. Applying the knowledge gained from this degree directly in my role has been a key advantage.
I am deeply committed to developing the next generation of Vascular Technologists through internships at our practice, where I enjoy mentoring and guiding students as they enter the field. Additionally, I am passionate about active involvement in professional societies like the Northwest Vascular Technologists and the Society for Vascular Ultrasound, believing that engagement with these communities strengthens both our profession and patient care.
Specialties: I specialize in noninvasive vascular procedures including cerebrovascular, arterial peripheral imaging and physiological testing, upper and lower peripheral venous imaging, dialysis access imaging, renal hemodynamic testing, and abdominal arterial and venous imaging. In short, I assess the health of arteries and veins throughout the body.
When not assessing the arteries and veins in the body, I enjoy volunteering for NWVT, SVU, JVU, playing in the ocean, and most of all hanging with my family.
